Let’s Take a Look at How to Cancel CBS All Access Subscription
CBS was one of the first biggest US broadcast television and radio networks to start its streaming service back in 2015, well known as CBS All Access.
Since then, it has rebranded itself as Paramount Plus under the combined banner of Viacom and CBS – which later came to be known as ViacomCBS, as part of the merger between the two big companies, earlier in March this year.
Paramount Plus will now include content from CBS and Viacom’s exclusive originals and channels that include BET, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and VH1.
Still, if you’re no longer interested in their content variety or just too broke to remain invested in too many streaming services, worry not because there’s always an option to cancel CBS subscription. And, we’re here to tell you how!
1. On Paramount+ or CBS All Access website
Head over to the Paramount Plus website. Click on your account profile name and select Account.
On your Account page, scroll down to Subscription & Billing > Subscription and then select Cancel Subscription.
In case you were on a trial period and yet to go through the billing cycle, CBS will throw a pop-up for another free month, go ahead and click that ‘No, Thanks’ button. Next, another pop-up will ask you to confirm your cancellation. Select Yes, Cancel > Complete Cancellation, and you’re done.

2. On Android Devices (Android App or Android TV)
Open the Google Play Store. To access account options, tap on your profile from the top right corner.
Now choose the Payments and Subscription option. Here, you should click on Subscription, which will open up your subscription list. Choose Paramount Plus and select Cancel Subscription.
Alternatively, you can contact Google Play Support at (855) 836-3987 to process the same.
3. On Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad or TV)
In the case of iPad or iPhones, head over to Settings on the Apple app store on your device. Tap on your account name and then select Subscriptions (or iTunes & App Store). Select your Apple ID and sign in, then head over to Subscriptions. Tap on Paramount+ > Cancel Subscription. Select Confirm, and you’re done.
In the case of Apple TV, you can modify subscriptions only for tvOS apps which are installed on that Apple TV.
To continue, go to Settings > User Accounts > Subscriptions. Choose the subscriptions you don’t want to continue, then select Cancel Subscription.

If you signed up for Paramount Plus on Amazon Prime Video, you would have to go to amazon.com/contact-us for account support.
4. On Amazon Fire TV
If you got your subscription via Fire TV, you could access membership details on Your Memberships and Subscriptions. Now choose Manage Subscriptions beside the ones you want to cancel.
Now select the link under ‘Manage Your Prime Video Channels.’ Under the Prime Video Channels, choose the subscription you want to cancel > Cancel Channel > Confirm.

5. On Roku
If you subscribed to Paramount+ via the Roku media streaming device, go to your home screen. Press the asterisk * button on your Roku remote.
Select Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription.

Gaming Consoles and Smart TVs
Head over to the Paramount+ website. Now click on your profile icon and go to your Account> Cancel Subscription.
What if I want to re-subscribe?
In case you change your mind about it, you can always return and subscribe back again. Again, you will have to fill in your account details, including your credit/debit card purchase information, to set up your account.
What if I already paid the money?
In case you already paid for the subscription and want to cancel in between your active billing cycle, whether it’s a monthly or annual subscription plan, be warned that CBS All Access or Paramount+ does not offer any full or partial refunds.

How to update billing information?
If you just want to update your debit purchase-related information, head over to the Paramount+ website and sign in with your credentials.
Click on your profile icon on the top right corner and select Account. Go to Edit Payment right next to the Payment Method.
Now enter your credit card number, expiration date, and security code. Click on Save when you’re done.
Paramount Plus T-Mobile offer
As part of a promotional offer, T-Mobile is offering the eligible T-Mobile and Sprint customers one whole year of a monthly Paramount Plus Essential plan from November 9, 2021.
Its availability is limited, and the offer is valid for the Essential monthly plan only. You can find out more about the plan and its terms here.
If you’re a current subscriber of Paramount+ on any plan other than the Essential monthly plan, you can click here for the instructions related to redeeming your offer. It’s a decent offer if you are a T-mobile customer and don’t want to purchase the CBS All Access plan again for a while.
How to shift to Paramount Plus?
If you were a premium subscriber of CBS All Access, your subscription would automatically be transferred to the new streaming platform, Paramount Plus. You need to sign in to http://paramountplus.com/ or update your Paramount+ app and log in with the same credentials and payment information you used to create your CBS All Access account.
And, as per the CBS website, if you’re trying to stream content via CBS and see a ‘Subscribe’ flag right next to it, it means that the show is exclusive only to Paramount+, and you would be able to watch all your favorite shows and movies marked with ‘Subscribe,’ only through the Paramount website and app.
