Among Us is the free game which is a part of survival, a part of the paradox, and therefore the mystery of the murder. We see a team of up to 10 people on board trying to complete the fundamental task of keeping the ship afloat. The tasks in all of the Among Us maps are to help the game to advance the player’s gameplay.
The argument is that there’s a minimum of one cheater who won’t complete the tasks but is trying to kill everyone on board. Coworkers should complete their tasks while trying to spot the cheater.
When a cheater kills players and sees a dead body, he can press the emergency meeting button in the office to gather the other players in the communications room to identify the imposter. The cheater wins if they do not have it off before the sport ends.
In the game, even for skilled Amongers (that’s not what they’re called) who already know these basics from among us map, it’s also important to understand which parts of the map the protection cameras can see and where the second stages of common tasks like wiring could find yourself. There are presently four Among Us maps, which also include The Airship map. Below there are some tips, how to play with different Among Us maps.
Among Us Maps Details
There are 4 types of Among Us maps:
- The Skeld
- Polus
- Mira HQ
- The Airship
The Skeld Map
Skeld is one of the foremost popular Among Us maps within the game. Access points and routes are shown within the image above. The emergency meeting button is within the restaurant. It’s an outsized map with plenty of hallways and ample venting opportunities, marked in red on the map. Venting is to clarify the cheater’s ability where he can approach a vent opening to quickly hide or move in the spaceship and kill other players.
Throughout the map, there are security cameras, which can be seen from a safe place. The yellow boxes on the map express the area that gets covered in the vision of the camera. The emergency button is placed within the middle of the cafeteria.
There are four cameras in Skeld, and the location of every camera is the Medbay entrance, and the other three entrances are the Admin entrance, Navigation entrance, and Security entrance. Due to many features, the Skeld is one of the most popular Among Us maps. Every time cheaters have to be cautious about the dead bodies and other players.
Visual tasks
The Skeld has five visual tasks, which may be a lot. The host can turn visual tasks off to mend this advantage. As a result, the chances of winning on The Skeld are better for Crewmates.
Security room
The safety system on The Skeld allows the player to determine four corridors at an identical time, which could be a good way to regulate what other players do.
If you play as Impostor, you ought to remember that the sole corridors that don’t have security are the two lowest ones and also the very short corridor on the highest right.
Polus Map
Polus is the largest among us maps from gameplay. This is an excellent design due to its size being the largest map maker. This large map is slightly connected to the openings. Players can check the air vent locations in the image. In the Polus map, we can see a total of six cameras. Those location areas are East, South, Central, Northeast, Southwest, Northwest. As for the emergency, the meeting button is in the office.
This one of the Among Us maps has two locations on the east, and sides are connected by corridors and rooms. The center part, on the other hand, is totally open with some ‘loose’ rooms. Your mobility is therefore influenced by reckoning where you’re on this map.
If you’re an Imposer who decides to kill within the Specimen room, know that you just will need to leave through an extended corridor and a decontamination room. Make a kill next to the rooms, on the opposite hand, and you’ll go forth in any direction you wish.
Visual task
Polus from among us maps has two visual tasks. The first one is a scan. To scan all you have to do to complete this task go to Office on Polus. Once you have arrived, work with the task, and a red scanner will appear. Press the yellow triangle on the left to highlight your boarding pass.
Secondly, an asteroid shooter in weapons. For this, you have to clear all Astroids, which are located in weapons.
Security room
Just like the Skeld maps, Polus includes a security area. This map has six large areas under camera surveillance, but you will be able only to see one at a time. Memorize where they are located. There is a camera on every big east and west wings exit. Bonus, one can be seen within the middle of the map.
Mira HQ Map
Mira HQ map is comparatively small from all of the other Among Us maps. Mira HQ is the smallest map and is incredibly popular with local users because the full area of this map is connected. So if a player kills someone on Admin, he can easily attend the Reactor and trick him.
The emergency meeting button is within the restaurant. Also, there don’t seem to be any security cameras within the Mira HQ. Someone catches you venting? You should not rush them just in and cut them off before they create them in the cafeteria. In the cafeteria, you can see the emergency button.
There aren’t any cameras in Mira HQ. As a substitute for cameras, a door log is located, which is spectacularly difficult to use.
Visual task
Unfortunately for Crewmates, there’s just one visible activity on this map: scanning at MedBay. Same as the Polus, you have to report about height and weight.
Security room
Rather than security cameras, this map encompasses a unique feature called ‘Doorlog.’
Doorlog maintains a record of up to twenty entries for players over one-third of the sensors within the upper right lane.
Doorlog, then, only provides information on this area of the map. All in all, the Deceiver should be a touch worried about the likelihood that somebody might check him out.
The Airship
The Airship is one of the new Among Us maps. It’s the most important map yet, with several new room types and tasks. There are also a pair of recent movement mechanics; there are ladders between certain communications rooms, and there’s a floating platform you wish to face to traverse the aptly named ‘gap room.’
At the beginning of every round, you’re given a choice of three spawn locations to form your journey a bit easier. If you remember where your tasks are, of course. The map is so large; it is difficult to persuade you to be caught as an imposter because the ventilation network allows you to escape to a place where no one can see you. However, crewmates have a useful camera network, vitals, and admin tools to observe the truth.
Visual Tasks
There are currently no Airship visual tasks. Airship sabotages a course for Communications, Lights, Doors, and Avert, which requires two people to enter the same code in two different locations on both sides of the gap room.
